Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid

Heartsaver CPR, AED, First Aid trains anyone, with little or no medical training, to provide First Aid, CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective manner.

This course is for anyone seeking certification, including those who need a course completion card for their job, i.e. regulatory/OSHA, or other requirements. An American Heart Association (AHA) e-card certification will be issued upon completion.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid

Heartsaver Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid teaches child care providers and others to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant, in the first few minutes, until professional help arrives. An American Heart Association (AHA) e-card certification will be issued upon completion.

Babysitting as a business, so students learn everything they need to know to get started earning that extra cash
Safety and injury prevention guidelines, with best practices to make sure that everyone stays safe
Leadership strategies to build confidence when responding to conflict, as well as suggestions on how to avoid conflicts from the outset
Tips on age-appropriate play, and how to build rapport and stay engaged with children
Basic caregiving skills such as feeding, burping, diapering, and safe sleep practices
Basic first aid for common incidents

Hands On AED Training

This course is designed to teach you when, and how, to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). This will include critical information on the use of these devices, when the patient is either an adult or child, via hands on practice with our training AEDs. A CPR Prepared Certificate of Completion will be issued at conclusion of the course.

AVERT

Beyond Active Shooter Response Training.

When active violence occurs, seconds count, and you can't always wait for EMS to arrive. AVERT gives you the confidence and tools you need to assess and react quickly in an active shooter situation, and how to apply stop the bleed practices during life-threatening bleeding situations.

Training for everyone

Once taught only to industry professionals, the content in AVERT has been specifically adapted for the public by medical and law enforcement experts. Unlike other training programs that focus solely on run, hide, fight techniques, AVERT uses a dynamic method to teach proactive awareness, how to react and protect yourself and others in a violent situation, and how to stop the bleed.

Heartsaver First Aid
Hands on

Designed to meet OSHA regulations, Heartsaver First Aid covers first aid basics, consisting of the most common life-threatening emergencies, how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. An American Heart Association (AHA) e-card certification will be issued upon completion.

Cancellation
Policy

If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, we will issue a full refund minus a 4% transaction fee.
If you cancel within 24 hours of the class, no refund will be issued, but you will be given the option to reschedule within 90 days.
If you do not show up or do not contact us before the start of class, there is no refund, and you will need to pay again.

In the rare event that we cancel a class, a full refund will be issued.
